ArcWest Architects is excited to share the work in progress for a new addition to an existing home in south Denver. A notable feature of the addition will be the vaulted ceiling for the new interior spaces accomplished with the use of scissor trusses.

The residential addition to this house in southern Denver strives for simplicity maintaining the context of the existing house in conjunction with surrounding homes of the neighborhood. The scope of work for the addition consists of a new open Kitchen and Dining Room in one wing; a Master Bedroom and Master Bath with walk-in closets in the other wing.  Both wings of the addition built our perpendicular from the existing home creates a cozy new outdoor courtyard / patio.

The drawings are submitted for permit, and construction is scheduled to tentatively commence by the first of October.  Look for more photos and information be posted in the coming months.
