Kevin H. Anderson | Partner
Since 1990, Kevin Anderson’s architectural career has focused on the planning and design of publishing office and production facilities. His depth of experience includes all facets of design including programming, site planning, master planning, construction management and equipment coordination.
Kevin is known in the industry as a creative and strong designer with a thorough understanding of the newspaper and publishing industry. This is demonstrated in completed projects as diverse as the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, King County Newspaper’s production facility in Kent, Washington and the expansion for the Tacoma News Tribune, a McClatchy Company property.
Championing productive relationships between owners, architects, engineers and contractors result in successful projects and satisfied clients.
Prior to establishing ArcWest Architects Inc. with his Business partner Todd Heirls, Kevin worked as a Senior Architectural Designer for Dario Designs and prior to that held senior positions at:

Kevin is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and a registered Architect in the state of Colorado. He founded his career on his Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado and a
Bachelors of Art in Architecture degree from Iowa State University.
Prior to Joining Chuck Blevins & Associates Kevin and his wife served as Peace Corps volunteers from 1997 to 1999. Located in the Republic of Vanuatu in the South Pacific, Kevin assisted local community groups in
community development and construction-related projects.

facility on a Greenfield site.
Herald and News; Klamath Falls, Oregon
Masterplanning, design and equipment coordination for a new 38,000
square-foot office and production facility.
Newspaper Agency Corporation; West Valley City, Utah
Interior space planning, design and construction management for a new
340,000 square-foot combined production facility for the Salt Lake City
Tribune and the Deseret Morning News.
The Recorder; Greenfield, Massachusetts
Masterplanning for a new 40,000 square-foot office and production facility
on a Greenfield site.
The Columbian; Vancouver, Washington
Masterplanning for a new 40,000 square-foot office and production facility
to be located adjacent to The Columbian’s new office building.
Construction of the new production facility was not expected for up to ten
years. As an interim solution Kevin managed the implementation of a
mailroom study to determine the best solution for expansion of the
existing mailroom operation.
