Inserter Relocation & Coordination

The North Jersey Media Group (NJMG) recently consolidated their offset
printing & manufacturing operation in Rockaway, NJ.One component ofthis consolidation is the planning and relocation of two NP632-29
inserters and associated packaging equipment from the
decommissioned Hackensack facility.

NJMG utilized ArcWest Architects and their engineers to inventory the
existing decommissioned equipment and investigate how best to
relocate this equipment within an existing Rockaway newsprint storage
area. The final layout and engineering documents utilized available
space under an observation platform for the stack/tie equipment. This
maximized the high bay areas for insert gripper and stacker drops.
