The Gazette was in the process of evaluating a front-end system for their
newsroom and realized this would have a variety of implications on the
physical spaces and work area requirements.

Kevin Anderson, as an architect for Blevins Harding Group assisted The
Gazette in evaluating the newsroom’s plan for future growth and
determining the impact of various trends. Work styles and organizational
structures were explored. Kevin created a masterplan outlining spatial
implications and options to reorganize the area to incorporate the
objectives.

In addition, furniture evaluation services were implemented. This
included an inventory of existing furniture for its possible refuse and the
development of a schematic furniture plan. Kevin was responsible for
the selection of low cost interior finishes including custom made mobile
copy desk and reception/mail counter furniture.
