As employees of Austin AECOM, Todd Heirls and Kevin Anderson were responsible for Project Management and Project Architecture/Design respectively. This project encompassed planning, programming, design and construction administration for a 120,000 square foot production and distribution facility. This facility consolidated the needs of three local Scripps newspaper production facilities into one state of the art facility. This facility contained warehousing, production, packaging and distribution systems. The project also included one attached on site distribution center.

The selected site for this facility offered Treasure Coast Publishing significant public visibility along one of the heaviest traveled highways in Florida.

Todd and Kevin worked closely with the owners planning team and the equipment vendor’s engineers to coordinate and integrate the selected production and packaging equipment into the facility. The facility incorporated two MAN Roland regioman double wide presses and a Heidelberg Magnapak packaging center.
