Location: Appaloosa Place, Broomfield CO
Scope: Entry/Porch Redesign
Completed: Spring 2009
Craig and Kathleen Kallhoff’s1969 bi-level home sits on two acres in a rural area of Boulder county. Their home is modest and in good condition except for a deteriorating front porch, steps and railing. Working with Fuller Construction they made the decision to improve the appearance of the front of the house by replacing the entry with a covered porch, steps, railing and masonry wall.
The Residential Design uses quality materials and detailed construction to provide the design with a contemporary and timeless quality. As part of the modifications the front door will be pulled out approximately two feet to align with the face of the house and provide a larger interior space/landing. The additional space will allow for a custom millwork detail to store shoes
